My name is Xavier Mercerweiss. I'm a programming enthusiast and computer science student at Front Range Community College in Denver, Colorado. This site is meant to act as a sort of informal online business card. I've been programming for fun since August of 2020, leading me to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in computer science. My long-term goal is to earn a graduate degree in computer science and begin working either as an engineer or a researcher; I just love coding.
Most of my projects are publicly available on my GitHub, linked to the left of this paragraph. All of my work is open under permissive licensure; you don't need my permission to use or modify any software within my portfolio unless explictly stated otherwise. Most of it isn't particularly useful, but on the off chance you want to use some of it, you have my blessing.
Aside from programming itself, I'm interested in electronics, operating system internals, mathematics, and the indie web. Yes, basically all of my interests are tech related. No, I don't know why. Apperently a nerd is simply what I'm meant to be. If you'd ever like my help on a project, or just to chat for a bit, don't be afraid to shoot me an email.
